New things are coming.

Dear friends, family, customers, and followers,

After a long period of contemplation, I have decided to take a new path. In recent years, I have not been working with the same enthusiasm as in the beginning, and lately, I noticed that I really wasn't enjoying it anymore. Additionally, I was getting too much stress from the uncertain life as an entrepreneur, which prevented my creativity from flowing and left me feeling unfulfilled. Therefore, as of September, I will stop making bags and phone cases.

I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved, but it is time to embark on a new journey.

A few years ago, due to a breast cancer gene, I underwent several preventive surgeries, which gave me a glimpse into the world of the operating room. What a fascinating world! And how grateful I was to be able to undergo these surgeries. It seemed wonderful to be able to work there and contribute to a better and healthier life. I started researching and discovered that there is such a thing as a surgical assistant, and it seemed like a fantastic profession! After a process of research, shadowing, and applying for a trainee position in a hospital, I was accepted at the Canisius Wilhelmina Hospital in Nijmegen two weeks ago! This fall, I will start a three-year training program to become a surgical assistant, where I will use my technical and creative skills in the operating room—an adventure I am eagerly looking forward to!

Rest assured, my creative side will continue to exist, and I will always keep making beautiful things, but for the next three years, I want to fully focus on my training. Will I return to creative work alongside my job as a surgical assistant afterward? Who knows...
